Communications
The Communications team exists to help Warwick Business School to achieve its core business. Therefore, our strategies and activities are constantly reviewed to ensure that they reflect the changing needs of the University. We have three principal aims:
- To support the mission of WBS and help us achieve our core business objectives through strategic communications and public relations activities.
- To manage the reputation of WBS with the aim of earning understanding & support, and influencing opinion
- To identify, establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders on whom our success or failure depends.
Our long term priorities are:
- To engage with local, regional and national stakeholders to gain their understanding and support
- To promote WBS, its brand and its strategy
- To enhance the reputation of WBS by working closely with the print, broadcast and digital media through provision of timely, factual and relevant news
- To increase the WBS profile overseas and to help make WBS a truly global brand
- To achieve and sustain the commitment of staff and students to the WBS strategy through increased understanding, engagement and participation
- To maintain and develop relationships with opinion leaders at all levels
- To maintain and develop our position as a centre of excellence for communications strategy within the University.
