The Warwick MBA

Quality: In the 2012 Financial Times global ranking of full-time MBA programmes the Warwick MBA was ranked within the top 30 schools.
Distinctness: The Warwick MBA has recently been redesigned to bring Behavioural Science – an area in which we are a world leader - centre stage. As well as covering mainstream business and management areas, you will be taught topics including strategic decision making and negotiation by some of the world’s leading Behavioural Scientists. Responding to the changing needs of our MBA participants and the businesses they will join, we also provide an essential focus on the big issues of the day eg: corporate social responsibility and ethics in business, and business-government relationships.

MSc Finance & Information Technology
We offer a suite of world-class Finance programmes including our MSc in Finance, MSc in Finance & Economics, MSc in Accounting & Finance, MSc in Finance with Behavioural Science and MSc in Financial Mathematics. The quality of these programmes is shown by the fact that our MSc in Finance is ranked by the FT as the #1 pure Finance programme in the UK and in the Top Five globally.
This year we are launching our new MSc in Finance & IT, designed specifically for students with a computing or quantitative background who want a career in Finance. Our Dean, Professor Mark Taylor, was previously a Managing Director at BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, and he developed this new course in collaboration with former colleagues in the financial sector. He saw a need for a high-quality programme on which students could learn about financial products and processes as well as about the areas of IT that would be most useful to them in a financial career.
MSc Business
Long-renowned for our excellent Specialist Masters Programme, we are this year launching an innovative suite of general MSc in Business courses with three pathways for advanced study leading to the MSc in Business (Finance & Accounting), MSc in Business (Behavioural Science) or MSc in Business (Marketing).
Our MSc in Business is open to graduates from all disciplines. For those qualified in areas other than business or management, our new course offers the opportunity to study foundation subjects in business and management studies and then to choose a specialist pathway in one of the three specialist areas. For those who have some previous study of business and management the course offers the chance to specialise in one of the pathways in preparation for work in one of these areas.
MSc Management
Our very successful MSc in Management is aimed at students with no prior study of business and management, and provides a general management perspective on business leading to career options in management and consultancy roles. Built around a central core examining and analysing the Foundations of Corporate Performance, this course gives students the opportunity to study both the underlying business disciplines and to choose more specialised electives for study.
Specialist Masters Programme
We offer a range of other well-established masters courses in several areas for specialist study. In the area of business analytics, we offer our MSc in Business Analytics & Consulting, and our MSc in Management Science and Operational Research. In IT and marketing we offer our MSc in Information Systems & Innovation and MSc in Marketing & Strategy. In the human resources and organisational analysis field we offer our MA in Industrial Relations & Managing Human Resources, MA in International Employment Relations and our MA in Management & Organisational Analysis.
Each of these courses is aligned with a community of specialised management practice. For students who have a clear idea of their intended career area, and have the appropriate qualifications, these courses provide a stepping-stone to professional practice
£2m scholarship fund
We want the best-of-the-best studying here and becoming part of our global community for the future. For this reason, this year we established a £2m scholarship fund to provide a select number of top-flight students with scholarships to assist in funding their studies.
