Hong Kong group
Running since 1994, our Hong Kong group promotes fellowship among WBS and Warwick graduates residing in Hong Kong. We offer networking and professional development events, and promote WBS and the University as a premiere education provider by sharing our experiences and offering scholarships.
Our Executive Committee consists of six Directors serving on a voluntary basis. Election takes place at our Annual General Meeting. Our Honorary President is Professor Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor, the University of Warwick.
Membership is open to all WBS and Warwick graduates, as well as current students. A life membership fee of HK$200 applies. The membership application form, and more information about us, is available on our own website. You can also see us on Facebook.

On the first Thursday of every odd month, Warwick alumni in Hong Kong catch up with each other over a pint. The WGA Hong Kong happy hour gathering held on 4 March 2010 had among its participants two Warwick visitors in town: Mr Ben Plummer-Powell, Director of Development & Alumni Relations, Warwick Business School and Mr Paul Wilson, Short Course Manager, Centre for Applied Linguistics.

Set against the splendid decoration of the Soong Room of the Butterfield's Club, the annual reunion has attracted more than 110 Warwickers and their family. The dinner was kicked off by a welcome speech by Dr Edmund Lee, WGAHK Chairman, followed by a speech by our guest of honour, Prof Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Warwick and Honorary President of WGAHK.
