WBS's MA in Industrial Relations & Managing Human Resources (MAIRMH) has successfully undergone a rigorous re-accreditation exercise by Europe's largest HR professional body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).

Students seeking CIPD accreditation take a specific pathway through their MA, known as the CIPD route. This involves an additional module, delivered throughout the academic year, as well as associated activities that enable students to demonstrate continuing professional development.

Catherin Gordon, Administrative Director for Specialist Masters at WBS, commented, "Gaining this re-accreditation was by no means a rubber-stamping exercise. It involved an in-depth review of the MA course content, teaching and learning methods, and assessment methods and quality procedures. It also involved a visit by the CIPD's Quality Assurance Panel, who met with key staff including the course's External Examiners."
