WBS launches new Executive Diploma in Autumn 2010
The new look Diploma launches in Autumn 2010. Building on the excellent work delivered by Andrew Hardwick, Nick Barclay has refreshed the design to meet the changing needs of the business community.
It is designed to develop an understanding of pragmatic managerial and commercial models and theories. Delegates learn to apply these to issues and challenges in the workplace and develop entrepreneurial approaches to solving real business-critical problems. A new immersion week explores personal effectiveness and leadership styles and now also opens a fast-track route to the prestigious Warwick MBA by letting you apply for exemption from three of its core modules. Ideal target groups for this are individuals with a middle-to-senior management role, with full support of their sponsoring organisation. The study programme is part-time over 15 months and has 4 core modules, delivered in short workshops, 1 team consulting project and 1 work-based individual project.
Nick Barclay said: "The new Diploma will be an excellent springboard for managers to get to grips with the skills and approaches required to enhance their effectiveness within their own organizations. I am looking forward to delivering an exciting and dynamic programme that will challenge, inspire and delight its participants."
Fees for 2010 are £7,995, including all course materials and catering during the workshops. Overnight accommodation is not included, but can be booked on campus or at other venues nearby.
Interested parties can get a taster of the programme during one of two taster events on the 2 September and 22 September at Warwick.
