Jack Broadley Runs Jerusalem Marathon for Local Charity
Jack writes:
The House of Hope looks after blind, physically and mentally handicapped kids and opens its doors to all sectors of the local community. It also runs a small workshop for ex -pupils and blind adults making floor brushes.
You will know from the media that things continue to be challenging in the West Bank and particularly in the Bethlehem area, where it's tough, especially for these children. When I visited the House of Hope I was really moved by the caring and loving approach of the staff who used very meagre resources to keep things going.
They continue to be a real 'beacon of hope' in these troubled times and I would like to try and support them. So please, if you can - sponsor me even a small amount will go a long way to help these kids.
Please note that all my costs for the Jerusalem Marathon were covered, so everything that you sponsor me for will go directly to the House of Hope. Echoes of Service, a UK Registered Charity will be collecting the funds on behalf of the House of Hope.
Please support me.
Many thanks
Jack
