Women and Digital Technology

Join the Professional Women's Group of Warwick on the 2nd July at the Shard to hear how women are contributing in the field of digital technology and how companies from a cross-section of industry overcame some of the key challenges they faced in the transition to digital.

More and more women are successfully joining digital careers working alongside men, gaining confidence, developing their skills and ambitions. This is the right point in time to celebrate and recognise the positive impact gender diversity is bringing to digital marketplace in terms of creativity and economic added value.

Our panel of speakers will cover:

  • Women's Contribution joining the Digital Workforce
  • Key Challenges of going digital - Examples from different
industries: Hilton, coca cola , Philips healthcare , MasterCard , smart
    cities etc
  • Are these challenges people centric/leadership style/creativity?
  • There is still much to do to encourage young women to consider digital careers at a very early age and breaking down the barriers for women and girls entering the technology world.

Detail of our speakers will be updated soon:

The format of the event will be based around a short introductory presentation, then a panel style Q&A.
