Finance Friday: Tax Transparency @ The Shard, London

Join the hugely popular Warwick Finance Professional Network and Warwick London Alumni Network at our event on Friday 27th November 2016 at Europe's Tallest Building, the Shard

We would like to welcome our speakers, Anvita Collins from HSBC Private Bank, Adrienne Curtis from Aviva and Ann Roughead, Non-Executive Director of ColumbiaThreadneedle and Member of the Ethics Committee, Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI).

The topic will be focused around 'Tax Transparency' and the changing tax landscape. The evolving role of Financial Institutions will be explained as well as the introduction of the forthcoming OECD's Common Reporting Standard (CRS) for automatic exchange of information for tax reporting purposes. This will lead into how such tax regimes will erode banking secrecy, and of course the future impact and issues that will be incurred from these new tax regimes. The discussion will then be opened up to the audience for questions.

The event will run from 6:00-7:15pm, and will be followed by a networking reception that will run until approximately 8:30pm.
