Entrepreneurial Finance 'Crowdfunding – Take it or leave it'

Crowdfunding has become an established route to raising differing forms of capital in support of enterprises in many forms, whether for profit or social benefit, or a mixture of both.

There has been a mixture of experiences around crowdfunding, some positive and some not quite so. We dedicate an evening at the Shard to constructively examining the case for and against crowdfunding; and in doing so, invite the views of the differing stakeholders in this journey.

The audience and speakers will consist of crowdfund providers, companies that have raised investment via crowdfunding platforms, and advisors that service this market. The aim of the evening is to present the subject through differing lenses, followed by a Question and Answer session involving the speakers and the floor. The hope is to provide an unbiased view of the subject matter.

Keynote speakers from the industry and academic rchers will share their experiences and expertise with the audience, followed by a 'question time' forum. This is a great opportunity to network with student and graduate entrepreneurs, potential investors, and academics within the Warwick Enterprise Network.
