Course overview
The Warwick Graduate Diploma in Applied Management is an Honours level qualification, requiring 23 days out of the office over its 15 month duration. It runs each year, starting in the Autumn. Working in partnership with WBS and your line manager, you will explore a wide range of innovative and creative ideas to take back to your workplace. Our study programme consists of four interlocking taught modules delivered in workshops at the University of Warwick campus, and two projects, one team and one individual.
Our programme starts with a highly interactive and experiential module and Immersion Week at WBS. Through varied activities and simulations you will get to know your colleagues better, and explore some of the themes and materials you will be covering in more depth later.
Three six-day modules on campus will develop these themes. The emphasis of our programme is very much on applying your learning to your workplace. Our tutors are experts in developing your curiosity about management, leadership, and organisations. Our teaching mixes academic rigour, real-life scenarios, and workplace interaction to ensure your learning becomes embedded.
The two work-based projects will allow you to practice your skills and deliver significant value to your organisation.
On graduation, you can apply for exemption from three of the core modules of the Warwick MBA.
