Certificate in Applied Management for Football

To me the bottom line is the more education you can give yourself, and the more preparation you can do, the less chance of failing. That's my philosophy.

Warwick Business School, in association with the Professional Footballers Association and the League Managers Association, and endorsed by the Football Association, offer the Certificate in Applied Management.

It provides a management 'toolkit' for football professionals considering or already in club management. It is a management qualification for any senior player, coach or manager who wants to enhance their understanding of all aspects of football management.

Who can join?

• Applicants should hold a current FA Advanced Coaching Licence, UEFA 'A' Award, or equivalent
• Priority will be given to candidates holding the English FA Advanced Coaching Licence
• Applicants should have experience of the English professional game at senior level (1st team) in the first four divisions (now Premiership to League 2) as a player, coach, assistant manager or manager.

In exceptional circumstances an applicant may be considered at the discretion of the selection committee.
