Biography
Before joining the University of Warwick Giles was a Director of HCS Ltd, a provider of applied research services; a Senior Research Consultant for Secta Health Group, part of Tribal Consulting Plc; and a Business Consultant for Lancaster University's Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development. He is a member of the Operational Research Society, the UK Systems Society and a Visiting Research Fellow at Hull University Business School. Consulting experience includes operational modelling and the facilitation of strategic thinking, innovation and organisational change. Giles has consulting experience in both the public and private sectors.
Research interests
Innovation; Creativity, Soft Systems Methodology; Service Science, Soft Operational Research, Systems Modelling.
