Yansong Hu

Biography
Yansong Hu is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Warwick Business School. His research focuses on new product development and diffusion, social networks and business marketing, and has won several international awards, including the Best Paper in Marketing and Technology Track in American Marketing Association Winter Marketing Educators' Conference, the M.Wayne DeLozier Best Conference Paper Award at the Academy of Marketing Science Conference, and an Honorable Mention Award in American Marketing Association TechSIG Best Dissertation Competition. Prior to joining academia, he received his MBA degree from Cambridge University and held a number of managerial positions in China, including responsibilities as a senior marketing manager in an automotive company and a co-founder at an international trading firm. He had also worked on a wide range of projects with international firms, such as Coca Cola, Pilkington and Weyerhaeuser Corp, after his BS in engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
