Marketing & Strategic Management
The MSM group is one of the largest subject groups at Warwick Business School.
There are 28 full-time faculty who teach across the entire range of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes at WBS, including the specialist MSc in Marketing & Strategy.
Research in the group encompasses a wide range of management and business studies interests in strategy, marketing and international business, reflecting the multidisciplinary background of its membership. There are sub-groups in the areas of economics and innovation, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, the psychology of strategic management, international leisure industries, branding strategies in professional sports, consumer culture and identity, modelling competitive strategy, international business strategy and organisation learning.
Over 30 doctoral researchers are supervised by MSM faculty as part of the group, and there are three distinctive research networks based within MSM:
Sales & Account Management Strategy (SAMS),
The Strategy, Organisational Learning and Resilience (SOLAR), and
The Research Network on Marketing, Innovation and Chinese Economy (MICE).
