Staff profiles

WBS staff profiles are created from data stored in a number of databases. If your profile needs updating, the data comes from the following places:

This information is updated by WBS administrators. Links to contact the relevant people are provided below.

Name
Managed by WBS HR. Please contact WBS Human Resources.
Room & telephone data

Managed by WBS academic services. You can also specify a preferred telephone number (eg. mobile) in My Profile.

Email address

Managed by WBS Solutions, contact the helpdesk.

Teaching activity

From TAP for 2011-2012. This data is managed at group level. See your group secretary.

Photo

Photographs are updated each term from official staff portraits, organised by the MarComms team. If you don't see a picture, you may need to grant permission first, via the My Admin/Profile section of my.wbs.

You can upload a different photo (180×150px) to the General tab of My Profile.

My Profile Self-managed data

My Profile is part of the eRA portal managed by the University's' RSS department. Staff can login to update their own information there.

From the Projects, Conferences, and Publications sections of My Profile.

These all come from the General tab of My Profile.

Missing data?

If you do not have a page, or if you are a faculty member with only contact data visible, your University number is missing/incorrect in the WBS HR database. This is required to link to the data in My Profile. Please contact WBS Human Resources.
