WBS PhD in Finance student makes headlines a second time
16 June 2009
Ilias Tsiakas, Associate Professor of Finance, reports on the second achievement in recent weeks of WBS doctoral student Sakkapop Panyanukul.
For the second time this month, I am delighted to extend my warm congratulations to second year PhD in Finance student Sakkapop Panyanukul. In addition to receiving the Young Scholar Award at the recent NYSE/Tinbergen Institute Workshop in Amsterdam (see WBS report here Sakkapop was honoured by sounding the gong at NYSE Euronext Amsterdam.
You can see the formal announcement and the relevant video clip here.
This is a fantastic achievement for a Warwick student only in his second year of studies (and indeed first year of research), which I hope serves as inspiration to his PhD in Finance classmates. I also look forward to having Sakkapop present his paper in our internal workshop in the Autumn term.
