WBS experts write in Harvard Business Review
31 March 2010
Harvard Business Review is one of the most respected business journals in the world, referenced equally by academics and corporate practitioners.
In the just-published April issue, WBS Professor Loizos Heracleous co-authors an article, The Myth of Shareholder Capitalism. The article addresses the issues behind the US-based Kraft take-over of British chocolate makers Cadbury, considering the requirements of company law as well as how directors, shareholders and other stakeholders might expect their wishes to be executed.
In the March issue of HBR, Associates of WBS IKON Research Centre (Innovation, Knowledge & Organisational Networks), Richard McDermott and Douglas Archibald author an article Harnessing Your Staff's Informal Networks, on the growing influence and usefulness of in-house networks of experts, or 'communities of practice' at the workplace.
