On International Women's Day Warwick Business School held a conference at WBS London at The Shard on the Changing Faces of Female Influencers.

Three women revealed inspiring stories of how females have succeeded as the UN-backed International Women's Day tries to move the world towards gender equality.

Claire Horton, CEO of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, talked about how women influenced and shaped the not-for-profit and voluntary sectors, while Nadine Smith, a communications director at Boston Consulting Group, with 18 years Whitehall experience, looked at the impact women have had on politics across the globe.

And Nadia Sood, who founded Impact Investment Partners LLP, examined the progress of women reaching CEO and leadership positions in business.
