Dancing to soul or rock? Reasons for a Special Issue

28 January 2012

WBS Professors Graeme Currie and Justin Waring have just completed editing a Special Issue of Social Science & Medicine, the world's highest citation Social Sciences journal, published by Elsevier.

In a video on YouTube, they are interviewed by Ryan Mowat, Managing Editor of Social Science & Medicine, explaining the reasons behind this Special Issue.

They describe how they creatively brought together articles on contemporary issues which cross geographical boundaries and which also cross the boundaries of organisation studies, medical sociology, and health policy. Contributions come from business school researchers, medical sociologists, and health policy analysts.

This Special Issue - http://goo.gl/Gypac - is therefore an 'interdisciplinary space' where dancing to rock or to soul works equally well.
