Warwick Business School confirmed as amongst best in the world

The results of the influential Financial Times annual survey of business schools show that Warwick Business School has achieved a substantial improvement in its ranking moving up 19 places from 59th to 40th in the world. The results also show that WBS is now in the top ten in Europe and fourth in the UK.

The comprehensive survey also shows that the Warwick Business School doctoral programme has maintained its position with the third highest score in the world. This confirms the high research quality of WBS.

"We have been taking significant measures over recent years to ensure that WBS delivers a flexible range of management education which is relevant in this fast-moving and competitive marketplace." says Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of Warwick Business School. "Students completing courses here demand that their qualifications are valuable to employers and that this value is maintained over time. This ranking, largely based upon a survey of alumni, is proof of the quality of our faculty, the relevance of our teaching, and efforts that have been made by the whole school. I am confident that we will not only maintain our status but that we will improve on it in future years. The Midlands can be justly proud that there is a world-class business school at its heart."

The FT survey is carried out amongst those who have completed the MBA by full time study. However, the Warwick Business School MBA is also delivered by a range of flexible methods - evening study, modular and by distance learning. There are over 2,000 managers currently studying at WBS using these methods from over 70 countries around the world.
