Warwick MPA Reinforces its International Credentials with Visit to US Policy-Makers
The focus of the visit is on US national and local governance. The first week is being spent in Washington DC, and in addition to lectures from staff at Georgetown and George Washington Universities, there will be meetings with staff from the World Bank, Institute of Policy Studies, the Carnegie Endowment for World Peace, and the British Embassy.
The Warwick MPA will also visit the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in an intensive residential workshop with a group of American state and local government executives.
"This US study trip reinforces Warwick Business School's commitment to inter-disciplinary work on issues of governance, public policy and management, and to internationalise its activities," says Professor John Benington.
