ESRC Recognition for WBS Programmes

Early in February 2002, it was announced that Warwick Business School (WBS) had been awarded ESRC recognition for research studentships in business and management areas. The WBS Doctoral Programme was ranked third in the world in a recent Financial Times survey.

Under this scheme, studentships are available for UK and EU postgraduate researchers at masters and doctoral level starting in October 2002. Applications must be received by mid-March 2002.

Applicants for doctoral studentships must either hold, or already be studying for a relevant Masters degree. As a foundation to doctoral studies, UK/EU candidates can also apply for studentships on WBS Specialist Masters degrees. More information on the studentships is available on the ESRC Web site.

Candidates for studentships should apply to the programmes before the middle of March 2002 in order to meet the ESRC's 1 May deadline. For further details, contact the Doctoral Programme Office (telephone +44 (0)24 7652 8221, or email phdsec2@wbs.warwick.ac.uk) or see the Prospective Students section of the WBS Web site.
