New Ford Trustmark MBA
Warwick Business School has launched The Ford Trustmark MBA, an innovative new variant of the Warwick MBA. Created for senior managers within the Ford group, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, and Polar Motor Group, the programme is based on the Warwick MBA by Modular study and by Distance Learning.
The 22 participants will study as a single cohort in their first year receiving a mix of face-to-face teaching on campus and distance learning study and support. This will allow them to explore their organisation's particular areas of interest. They will then join the other MBA participants and can choose to take the Warwick MBA by Modular study, a series of intensive 5-day modules on the Warwick campus, or by Distance Learning.
Sean McIlveen, Director of Education Training and Development for Ford Europe said, "This program represents an exciting move forward in the development of future leaders across Ford Motor Company. The innovative blend of taught and distance learning modules provides a very flexible and robust programme design."
The Ford Trustmark MBA is also making good use of my.wbs, Warwick Business School's online learning environment. This gives the programme flexibility while still retaining a strong face-to-face component.
Francesca Coles of the Warwick MBA said, “We believe this partnership represents an exciting new development and are proud to be associated with the Ford Trustmark Learning Alliance in launching what will be the first mixed-mode programme in the Warwick MBA portfolio.”
