Warwick Business School Rises Again in Worldwide Business School Rankings
WBS has risen to 34th position in the influential Financial Times World MBA rankings, published today, 20th January, making it 8th in Europe, and 3rd in the UK, splitting Cambridge and Oxford (2nd and 4th respectively). WBS has now risen 20 places over the past three years.
"We are delighted at our rise in these rankings. It is a deserved recognition of the quality and efforts of our staff, our current and former students, and our corporate partners, who have all contributed to this good result" said Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of WBS.
"This is great news, for both staff and students at WBS. It is also great news for our 14,000 former students working around the world - a vindication for them that they studied at one of the best business schools in the world" said Dr Simon Collinson, Associate Dean for the Warwick MBA. "An accredited MBA, such as at WBS, is now almost a required qualification for managers and executives who wish to rise to the higher echelons of management" he continued.
Although this survey focused on full-time MBAs, the Warwick MBA is also delivered by modular or evening format on campus, and by distance learning, all fully accredited. WBS's doctoral programme is ranked joint second in the world; its undergraduate degrees are in the top rank, and its specialist masters programmes are regarded as amongst the highest quality available.
