Demand continues to grow for the Warwick MBA

Due to demand Warwick Business School (WBS) at the University of Warwick has just announced it will enrol an additional second intake in the year onto its MBA by modular study. In addition to around 50 students joining in December, a further 50 will also begin study in March.

This development bucks the current trend of MBA applications, which in some schools shows a downward turn. WBS is responding to demand both from individual managers, and from organisations who wish to sponsor their managers for a Warwick MBA but who do not want to wait for a single annual intake.

Rachel Killian, Marketing and Recruitment Manager for the Warwick MBA, explains why WBS has taken this decision.

"In previous years, we have had to turn away excellent candidates for the programme, simply due to capacity constraints. This second intake gives us much more flexibility in terms of being able to accept more candidates of a high quality. Many people are finding that the modular way of study fits in well with their work and family commitments, even those based overseas. The percentage of people based in mainland Europe and Russia who are joining the programme has doubled since 2001."

One of Europe's largest business schools and the largest department of the highly-rated University of Warwick, WBS is fully accredited. Our teaching is rated excellent and 75 percent of our research is rated at 3* and above, placing us 3rd in the UK.
