Howard Thomas is the New Vice-President of EFMD
This week has seen the announcement that Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of Warwick Business School, has been appointed to the position of Vice-President of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
The European Foundation for Management Development is the largest international network association in the field of management development. The network covers over 500 institutional members and reaches over 12,000 management development professionals from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 65 countries across the globe.
It runs the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration, with 82 schools accredited to date from 28 countries.
Professor Thomas said, "I am delighted to work with the European Foundation for Management Development as it continues to build upon its reputation for developing European and international management education around its academic networking, its accreditation and quality actions and its genuine search for ideas in the management education field."
