WBS stays high in the rankings
The Economist Intelligence Unit's Which MBA? Guide, published annually, has just announced its Full-time MBA ranking results for the world's top 100 business schools. Warwick Business School has retained its high placing, coming in 31st position. The top 100 represent one per cent of all the world's business schools, giving a true indication of the stature of WBS.
Professor Thomas Ahrens, Associate Dean for the Warwick MBA, says
"Our ongoing investments in the MBA programme have once again paid off. We have enhanced our teaching quality and the personal and career development services through the addition of hands-on soft skills components to the curriculum. We have just completed an £8 million state-of-the-art building to expand and update our teaching facilities. And our alumni network responds enthusiastically; more alumni than ever participate in our open events."
Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of WBS, says
"These good results confirm our claim to be at the cutting edge of business education. We have a reputation for working closely with our partners in both the public and private sectors, carrying out high quality research and delivering the fruits of that work through our teaching. As part of the highly-regarded University of Warwick, WBS both benefits from and contributes to the high-quality life of the campus."
WBS scores highly in media-based rankings; its Executive MBA is currently ranked 17th worldwide by the Financial Times, its Doctoral Programme is regularly in the world top three, and the current Times Good University Guide places the WBS Undergraduate Programme in its top three.
As well as full-time study, the Warwick MBA can also be taken in 5-day study blocks or by distance learning. The three different study patterns can be mixed and matched to allow flexibility according to the needs and circumstances of the participant. Currently 2,457 participants from over 100 countries are studying for the Warwick MBA.
