Relocation for AIM Research
Following its award of GBP7.5 million in support from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), The Advanced Institute of Management Research (AIM) has announced that it is joining Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick on May 1st 2007. However it will remain in London relocating to the University of Warwick London Offices in Stewart House, Russell Square.
This next phase of AIM's development will fund 3 new cohorts of mid career Fellowships and also a new targeted research initiative on Innovation, the participants involved in the Innovation Fellowship and Targeted Initiative were announced on 3rd April 2007. AIM will also be announcing two new Fellowship cohorts on services and management practice in Autumn 2007 and 2008.
Warwick Business School Professor Robin Wensley, Director of AIM, thanked AIM's previous academic partner London Business School for their support of AIM saying, "London Business School helped AIM Research become the established and highly regarded organisation it is today. We look forward to an exciting and challenging phase 2 in partnership with Warwick Business School."
Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of Warwick Business School comments "Warwick Business School is pleased to be supporting such a worthwhile initiative and group of outstanding academics. The new Fellowships will further enhance the UK's stock of high quality management research."
