Major award for Professor Piercy

Ken Le Meunier-Fitzhugh (PhD, 2006) and Professor Nigel Piercy (Marketing and Strategic Management) have been awarded the Marvin Jolson Prize for the Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management Practice for 2007 by the Journal of Selling & Sales Management. The prize was for their paper "Does Collaboration Between Sales and Marketing Affect Business Performance?" The award will be made at the Academy of Marketing Science conference in May.

The Journal of Selling & Sales Management is a US-based journal and is the premier outlet for scholarly research in the sales management field. This is a second recent success at this journal, since Piercy and co-authors won the JPSSM best theoretical contribution paper prize in 2005.
