WBS launches new career services for executives
The Personal and Career Development Team (PCD) at Warwick Business School are pleased to announce the launch of new career services for Alumni and part-time MBA participants.
Carol Rue, Director of the PCD team, reports.
We surveyed our Alumni and part-time MBA participants last year to find out what they felt was important in terms of personal and career development services and received some interesting feedback. Some of the key things our stakeholders said they wanted were:
A new approach to career management
After assessing this feedback a feasibility study was conducted. In the months since the study was completed our Personal and Career Development Team has been working hard, sourcing industry experts and developing module content with them.
This work has now come to fruition and from mid-April, part-time MBA participants and Alumni members will be able to access four innovative career modules as part of a pilot project:
Delivered via a series of webinars and incorporating personal tutor sessions, these modules provide career management tools and tactics that will last a lifetime and enable participants to reach their career potential.
Accessible from anywhere in the world
Our Alumni and students are located all over the world and to reflect that global audience the new career modules will be delivered over a series of dates and times using our online virtual classroom wbsLive. Additional career consultations and executive coaching will also be available face-to-face, over the phone and online.
