Warwick Business School among the highest risers in world ranking for executive education

Warwick Business School has climbed 10 places in the world in the Financial Times ranking, published this week, of business schools providing customised executive education for businesses. WBS is now 54th in the world, and 5th in the UK. It is also among the schools who rose the highest in this ranking worldwide, and the highest riser of all UK schools.

The ranking is established by measuring responses from a survey of corporate customers of business schools, and also from information supplied by the schools themselves. The different criteria are then weighted and combined to produce a singe ranking score. WBS scored particularly well in four criteria:
  • International Participants - the number of delegates from outside the UK taking part;
  • New Skills & Learning - the delegates who reported high levels of satisfaction with the relevance of new skills and the ease with which these were implemented;
  • Future Use – the likelihood that delegates would use the same school and the same course again;
  • Food & Accommodation – the quality of the food and accommodation provided for delegates.
Rebecca Smith, Director of Executive Programmes, commented, "It is great news that WBS has risen in this ranking, particularly in the current economic climate, when many business schools are struggling to keep their corporate customers. Our faculty and trainers, together with all the staff at Warwick who work in the background to give excellent service, are to be congratulated for their expertise and hard work."
