WBS given AMBA seal of approval
Warwick Business School has recently been reaccredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). Their report confirmed that all our efforts to develop and improve our offering and services have been successful and their recommendations were positive.
They noted that there had been widespread progress made by the School since the last Accreditation in 2004 and they commended us on the quality of our support staff and material. Our students and faculty were seen as being of a very high quality with the staff enjoying high levels of motivation which is reflected in the positive attitude demonstrated by the students.
We have continued to display a high level of research performance; we are clearly 'Research Active' and are committed to securing higher levels of research income in the future. Referring to the WBS development plans, the Association noted our understandable desire for all of teaching resources to be 'under the same roof'.
A significant degree of effort and investment has been placed in the Careers Development Service which was seen as being in line with our vision of where we would like to be; this was thought to be commendable given the current financial climate.
WBS has demonstrated innovation in our teaching methods in the Global Mentor programme and the strengthening of the Career Placement Office and we should also be commended for demonstrating great flexibility in bringing together all the delivery channels of Warwick MBA.
