Warwick gain 11 places in World University Rankings

The University of Warwick is the top ranking Midlands University in the new table of the World's top 200 Universities published today, 8th October 2009, by the Times Higher Education (THE) magazine. The ranking is compiled by QS, a global career and education network linking high achievers from the graduate, MBA and executive communities around the world.

Only three Midlands Universities make it into the top 100 of this list:

58 Warwick
66 Birmingham
91 Nottingham

Warwick has risen from 69th in 2008 to 58th in 2009.
