WBS Offers Free Taster
Latest press releasesWBS is offering free places to participate in an Operations Management module, part of the MSc in Management by Blended Learning course. It will take place over three weeks, and cover five themes picked from the current standard introductory OM courses. Sessions will be delivered online over 1.5 hours on 3 weekends starting on 6 February 2010.
Materials issued - handouts, notes, and case studies - will all be made available via PDF on a dedicated web page.
Screencasts will be made to cover each session. Each session will be delivered via wbsLive.
Students have the option to purchase a textbook (Operations Management (2009) Slack et al, FT Prentice Hall) but it is by no means essential.
All sessions will be archived and made available to all those interested.
