WBS first in UK in The Economist ratings of Distance Learning MBAs
In The Economist's second biennial rating of Distance Learning MBA programmes, announced today, Warwick Business School's Distance Learning MBA is again rated top in the UK.
The Economist selected only 13 schools globally as worthy of rating. Seven of these are based in the UK, three in the USA, two in Europe, and one in Australia. The ratings are scored against three different categories - programme content, quality of fellow students and effectiveness of the Distance Learning elements.
Professor Nigel Piercy, Associate Dean for the Warwick MBA, comments, "The fact that WBS is included in this rating exercise by The Economist is in itself an indication of the excellent quality of our Distance Learning MBA programme, and to come top in the country where most of the highly ranked business schools are based is even better. The Warwick MBA is a globally recognised qualification, whether studied by Distance Learning, Full-time, or through our Executive MBA."
Further details and a full explanation of the ratings can be found on The Economist website at the link below.
In the recent edition of Mexica-based Expansion business magazine, WBS was placed 24th in the world, a rise of six places, in the magazine's annual MBA programme ranking.
