Warwick Business School launches new MSc in Accounting & Finance

Building on the success of its prestigious BSc in Accounting & Finance, Warwick Business School (WBS) is now launching a long-awaited Masters in Accounting & Finance, to commence in September 2011.

The new Masters course, open to those with an excellent, relevant first degree, will complement the three existing Finance and Finance-related Masters courses at WBS.

Dr Elisabeth Dedman, Associate Professor in the Accounting Group and Academic Director of the new course, explains the reasons for launching it, "Recent events have revealed the need for a new breed of financiers who think more critically and who are prepared to challenge theories. We have therefore designed a course which combines the traditional technical requirements for a career in accounting or finance whilst developing the critical thinking required of the next generation of finance professionals."
