WBS Service Leadership Diploma in Singapore sponsored for further two years
The Singapore government's Workforce Development Agency has confirmed that it will continue to sponsor Warwick Business School's Graduate Diploma in Service Leadership for a further two years. This Diploma is taught by WBS faculty led by Professor Bob Johnston as Academic Director and Andrew Hardwick as Programme Director. The fifth cohort will commence study in March 2012.
First launched in 2007, the Singapore Institute of Management will market and provide teaching facilities for Diploma participants. It is taught only in Singapore for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents of the country. Six four-day workshops are matched with assignments and a business project. Learning and working through the 15 months of the programme aims to embed key service leadership principles into the business, while study modules ensure the development and rounded understanding of business and management.
Professor Johnston commented, "We are delighted that the Singapore Government, through the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, wishes to continue their sponsorship of this course, which amounts to a generous 70% funding of course fees. This support is due to the high standards of teaching and, importantly, the impact the course has had on the delegates' organisations through the efficient increase in the quality of service delivered."
