Our doctoral researchers are an integral part of the WBS research community; we do not see you as a student so much as an academic colleague in training. With one of the largest doctoral programmes in Europe, we are proud of our leading role in developing the next generation of researchers.
Excellent training & facilities
We recruit researchers of highest calibre (with roughly 10 applicants for each place on the Doctoral Programme, our selection process has to be extremely rigorous). We then provide high quality supervision and research methods training as well as various funding opportunities, excellent resources, research facilities, and dedicated administrative, IT and pastoral support - in short, everything that makes your environment conducive to study and helps you to fulfil your research potential.
