A hub for finance research

Warwick is a hub of activity within the finance world. We also have very strong Accounting and Finance subject groups, and a PhD in Finance available.

Within the Department of Statistics, the RISCU also provides an active research consultancy with leading financial institutions.

Financial Times ranking

In the first Financial Times ranking of Masters in Finance programmes, our MSc in Finance is placed #5 in the world for pre-experience programmes. The FT only reviews one course from each institution, and ours is therefore the top-ranked pure finance programme in the UK.

The ranking noted that WBS students achieve very good salaries post-degree and that we are exceptionally good at placing our students into employment within 3 months of completion. Along with the closely related curriculum, these factors are also true of our MSc in Financial Mathematics.
