Applying

Applications are open for our Masters courses and remain open on a rolling admissions basis. There is no deadline for our courses. We automatically consider applicants for our WBS scholarships.

How to apply

We prefer you to apply online for the MA Management & Organizational Analysis using the University of Warwick application form, linked below. There is a non-refundable application fee of £35.

We will only process your application once it is complete, with all requested information. We cannot comment on individual eligibility before you apply.

References

You will need to supply two academic references if you graduated within the last five years. These can be from anybody who has taught or tutored you. If you graduated over five years ago we will accept either one professional and one academic reference, or two professional references.

Once you have paid your application fee then, if you have completed the references section of the online application form, the Postgraduate Admissions Team will send an email to your referees inviting them to complete a reference for you online. They will be emailed only once. It is your responsibility to make sure references have been submitted.

Transcripts

You will need to supply an official transcript of your undergraduate degree (either the original or a certified copy) with your application.

English language certificate

If English is not your first language you may need to submit proof of a suitable English language qualification. For IELTS, we will require a copy of your certificate. If you have taken your test and are awaiting the results, put the date of the test on your online application form. You can then submit the scores later.

Statement of purpose

You must include a statement of purpose of around 500 words in length, to answer the following questions:

  • Why have you selected this particular programme? You should also include other motivating factors and additional relevant information in support of this.
  • What are your areas of interest within the programme?
  • What contributions do you feel you can make to the programme?
  • How do you see the programme affecting your career plans?
  • What evidence of research or reading in this area can you show?

The relevant section of the application form will accept up to 4,600 characters, including spaces. Alternatively, you can upload your statement as a separate document, attached to your online application.

What happens next?

We receive many applications, and consider each person on academic merit. Complete applications are normally processed within 4‑8 weeks of receipt.

You will receive updates on the progress of your application by email from the Postgraduate Admissions Team. You may track the status of your application online and if you encounter any problems then you can contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office directly.

If your application is approved, the University will make an official offer of a place. There will normally be a time limit to accept this. Offers may be conditional on you meeting academic, language, or other requirements. Don't worry about this - many students have conditional offers. Once you have met your conditions, the offer will automatically be made unconditional.

If you accept an offer, you must pay the deposit within six weeks of the date of your offer letter. We will only refund your deposit if you fail to meet the conditions of your offer.
