Eligibility
At WBS we do not have, or want, a 'typical' participant for the Warwick MBA. Everyone is different. The only common factor is that all our participants want to learn from each other. The composition of each class is hugely important to us. Each class is diverse, international, global thinking, and has a wide range of professional experience.
Our normal minimum requirements for admission are:
- A good Honours degree awarded by a UK university, or an equivalent overseas, or professional qualification
- At least three years, postgraduate, managerial work experience, for applicants for full-time study
- At least four years, postgraduate, managerial work experience, for applicants for part-time study
- A well balanced GMAT score is essential for the full-time mode. There are no exemptions available. Applicants to part-time modes may also be required to take the GMAT.
- English language competence. If English is not your native language, and you have not been working in an English speaking environment for more than two years, you will need a language test. We accept both TOEFL, minimum score on paper 620, computer 260, or internet 105, and IELTS minimum score 7.
If you do not have the academic qualifications but are an exceptional candidate with a proven ability to achieve, we will still consider your application.
However, since we place great value on sharing work experiences as part of the learning process, if you do not have the minimum experience you should consider our MSc in Management by full-time study or online instead.
From March 2009, all full-time students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) must apply to the United Kingdom Borders Agency (UKBA) for an adult general student visa under Tier 4 of the points based immigration system. To obtain a student visa you will need proof that you have enough money to fund your complete stay in the UK. More details are available from the University's International Office.
