You will need to submit two references in support of your application to the Warwick MBA. These are an extremely important part of the selection process.

If you have left education within the last five years, you should give one academic and one employment-related reference. Otherwise, give two employment-related references.

You should approach employer referees who will be able to give a broad overview of your managerial skills and experience. They should also be able to assess your potential for learning and applying new management skills.

You should approach an academic referee who can comment on your academic and intellectual ability. They should be able to assess your ability to analyse and apply theoretical frameworks to practical situations, and to present a cogent and coherent argument.

Both your referees should use the Warwick MBA reference forms. These are available to download as part of the online application form.
