I'm a non-paid trustee for a charity
Career prospectsI have been putting the Warwick MBA to good use outside my work in the pharmaceutical industry by working as a non-paid trustee for the Vitiligo Society.
This year, I organised and ran a Strategy Day at the charity's London headquarters using the knowledge, tools, and skills I'd gained from WBS.
I found the strategy development modules and project management skills, along with a greater awareness of corporate governance, were crucial for every aspect of the charity's work.
Now I'm helping them put together a business plan which will take them through the next year.
It's very rewarding to see the strategy and detailed business plans and objectives develop.
