Networking
Studying with WBS is exciting and invigorating. You will share your experiences with an outstanding group of equally motivated and talented participants. Be part of a lifelong network and supportive community, while you’re studying and after you’ve completed.
We have nearly 2,000 participants across the world, from 100 countries, at different stages of their studies and all networking to support each other. The friendships you will forge through the shared experience of learning at WBS, in person and online, will last a lifetime.
Syndicate groups
We choose our participants very carefully to achieve a balanced class ensuring a mix of industry backgrounds and professional expertise for each intake. Much of your learning takes place in syndicate groups, so you can share in the practical experiences of everyone in the group.
This is why we place such emphasis on prior work experience, so that you can be an effective contributor to the learning of your peers, and have the confidence to interact fully in syndicate work. We believe that if you haven't enough real-world exposure an MBA will be hollow learning.
my.wbs
Our online hub, my.wbs, will plug you into a global network of working people, some in very senior positions, and many in the big bluechips. There is a variety of special interest groups that are set up on my.wbs, across the whole of the Warwick MBA network. Currently there are groups focusing on consulting, investment, environmental issues, and even motorsport! They're great for sharing ideas, making new contacts, and getting feedback.
Mix & match interaction
Interaction with, and learning from, other participants is key to the Warwick MBA. When you take your elective modules, you’ll find you’re working with participants from different study modes. Some of these are studying full-time, some ere combining their study with work. You'll find the different perspectives refreshing, and the networking opportunities really useful.
