The Warwick MBA by full-time study

In the classroom

Our full-time study mode is an intensive 12-month route to the Warwick MBA. Because it's short, you're able to progress more quickly in your career. We recognise the need for you to get back to work quickly after a year out. Our careers team will work with you throughout the year to achieve this.

Added to the Practice of Management, which enables you to act as a consultant to a real organisation, our core modules ensure you gain a well-rounded business education. You will also learn a foreign language, crucial for international business credibility, during the programme.

We believe an international perspective is one of the most important elements of our programme. Extending your studies by three months for an international exchange opportunity, completing a company internship in the project term, or simply taking an elective module outside the UK, allows you to experiment with a new sector, environment, or country.

The University of Warwick is in the heart of England, less than two hours from London's airports, and just minutes from Birmingham Airport. Living expenses are a fraction of the cost of London, and with green fields around, the campus environment is one of our USPs.

Programme content

The core modules are the same, whichever way you study for your Warwick MBA. You will be taught using a variety of methods including lectures, case studies, models, visits, simulations, and syndicate group-work. You will also have the opportunity to complete online assessments to monitor your own progress. Many elective modules are available by different methods, so you can mix and match. Your final certificate will simply state that you have achieved the Warwick MBA. We don't specify the study mode you chose.

When to apply

The full-time study mode starts at the end of September each year. It runs for 12 months and is taught during normal working hours, Monday to Friday. However, there is some weekend and evening working as well as your assignments to complete in your own time. You can apply to us at any time, but your application should arrive by the end of July in the year you want to start your studies if you want to live on campus. If you are not an EU citizen, you will need to allow time for a student visa to be issued by the UK Government.
