Our approach

We believe that sponsored participation on the Warwick Global Energy MBA is a three-way partnership between the organisation, the individual, and WBS. We are interested in both a sponsored participant's contribution to their business and their own development over the course of our programme. We want you to get as much benefit as you can for your sponsorship, and for your employee to leave us prepared for new challenges and with a refreshed career path.

We want the Warwick Global Energy MBA to be integral to your own management development scheme. We encourage you to consider not just financial support and time implications of study, but the ways in which you can ensure you maximise its impact within your organisation. We have years of experience in helping organisations select the best candidates to sponsor, in order to enable in-company knowledge transfer. Only one of your staff might undertake our programme, but many of them could benefit from it.

We will encourage you to giving your employee access to areas of your organisation which are beyond their usual role or remit. This allows them to take on enhanced responsibilities to reflect their new skills, setting up a mentor arrangement with a senior colleague throughout their studies, and continued discussion of their career prospects.

We like sponsors to be closely involved with their sponsored participants. We want all our sponsoring companies to evaluate their investment and assess the benefits of the Warwick MBA for both the individual and the organisation. The feedback companies give us fuels our future programme design and development.

If your organisation would like to work strategically with us, please contact David Elmes, Academic Director of the Warwick Global Energy MBA.
