This module is taught, in English, at Mannheim Business School, Germany.
Modern organisations are influenced by information systems (IS) in various ways. As competition becomes borderless, organisations are forced to continually examine ways to operate more efficiently. Information systems are often a means of obtaining efficiencies in such environments. Systems are also a key enabler of new products, services, and processes. This module is designed for MBA students who desire an insightful synopsis of information management concepts and practices from a global perspective.
The course emphasizes information technology (IT) as a managerial instrument as well as the management of information systems (IS).
