Innovation Management
This five day module is available at Mannheim School of Business, Germany
This module will cover the whole process of innovation. It will start with the generation and evaluation of new ideas. Then it will deal with how to structure ideas and bundle them to projects. Tools and methods will be presented how to select the right projects and set priorities. The management of innovative projects is also content of the course. In the next step the issues how to bring projects successfully to the market will be discussed and tools to shorten the time-to-market are presented and analysed. Finally a controlling system will be developed to ensure the long-tern success of companies through an effective innovation management. In this course the whole stage gate process will be dealt with.
At the end of the course the participants should learn:
- Methods to find innovative business ideas.
- How to structure and analyse ideas and evaluate the strategic value of them.
- What tools and methods are available to prioritise ideas and transform them to specific projects.
- How to bundle projects and how to optimize a bundle of projects.
- The management of the whole stage gate process for innovations.
- How to reduce the time-to-market for new products or services.
- The development of a controlling system to gear the whole innovation process.
