Project Management

You can study this elective either at WBS or as an entirely online module. In this multi-disciplinary module you will cover the wide range of uses for project management in the modern business world as well as the more traditional planning and control aspects of project management.

Topics usually covered include:

• Project Life Cycle
• Introducing the project and stakeholder management
• Working with customers
• Risk management (positive and negative)
• Project methodologies
• Reporting project performance
• Project negotiation
• Critical Chain theory
• Project strategy and programme management.

By the end of this module you will have:

• Made comparisons with their own experience in organisations
• Compared and contrasted different project environments
• Increased your understanding of commercial and behavioural issues in the management of projects.
