Eligibility for Home fees
If you are a national of the UK or an EEA state and have been resident in the UK or EEA for at least the past three years, then you will typically pay fees at the Home rate. Others will normally pay at the Overseas rate. Full regulations are on the University website.
Fees
Fees include registration, induction, teaching and tuition, web-based support, study materials, essential textbooks, project and dissertation supervision, and a range of campus facilities at the University of Warwick.
Fees do not include:
- Travel to and from WBS; if you study part-time, you will need to allow for the cost of travel for all modules
- Meals & accommodation. You should typically allow around £250 for each module you attend.
No refunds are offered for mid-year suspensions or withdrawals. Part-time participants may be able to pay in two annual instalments if required, please contact us for details.
Bursaries
Generally, if an applicant has not managed to secure full funding from their employer for the course then we would expect participants to self-fund their study. Career development loans are available to assist this and there is also a salary sacrifice scheme operated by HMRC to provide tax relief on education/development fees. However, we appreciate that personal circumstances may prevent significant self-funding as an option.
WBS offers a bursary fund to assist with fees payment for applicants meeting one or more of the following criteria:
- Genuine financial hardship
- Contribution to the programme learning community
such as unusually extensive/broad work experience, or experience in a particular sector that we wish to attract, for example the voluntary sector.
Our full criteria and decision process is described in our guidelines document (44KB PDF). Further advice is available if you contact the Programme Managers. To apply for a bursary, you must complete this form (52KB Word document).
Eligibility
You must have:
- More than three years' full-time salaried work experience, including some at executive level in the public or voluntary sector, industry, or commerce
- A good first degree; at least a 2:1 from a UK university, or an equivalent from an overseas institution
- Demonstrable numerical ability to a level equivalent to GCSE or GCE O-level.
The programme is taught in English. If this is not your first language, an appropriate language test in support of your application will be required.
We will consider exceptional managers who do not fulfil all the entry criteria. Please contact us to discuss your application in advance.
